Jane is a wonder as an artist and a human being. She not only brings out your best, she makes you FEEL your best, with her talents and her kindness. She needs to be cloned.
Jane was the one of the best memories I had working on SNL, she always had a smile and I loved hearing her talk about her children. She treated her job like it was the most precious thing in the world. I have never had another make up artist or person work with me with such heart and care. I miss her and whenever I work, Jane is always my first call.
Jane has helped me to take my photography to another level. She can solve the most difficult special-effects make up challenges from painting an entire group of dancers head to toe, to attaching toys and cereal in a man’s beard, to having a fish hook stuck in somebody’s face.Giving a subject demon horns or re-creating bee stings is easy for her, her true creativity comes out when you ask her to do something she has never done before. Being a true professional, she will use her children as test models to make sure whatever she is experimenting with will work out later for my pictures. She is also great at making people look their best without them loosing their personality and character by using make up in a way that it doesn’t over-shadow or impose itself. Jane’s humble and sweet personality have helped me reach the most difficult subjects and her unparalleled skills and versatility have helped me realize some of the most significant portraits of my career. Jane is a pleasure to work with and a joy to know.
Jane’s knowledge and gentle technique makes her a very special make up artist. I feel lucky to have worked with her!
